KARNATAKA has been a leading state in the generation/management of Electricity since decades-steady,reliable power is the forte of GoK Organizations: KEB,KPTCL,BESCOM..coupled with total,uncompromising SAFETY in proper usage at Industries/domestic establishments/cities-minimising the chances of accidents- electrocution,power outages/line tripping..

A fleet of dedicated Vehicles for Emergency response was flagged off at the venue

 ELECTRICITY SAFETY WEEK/BANGALORE                      National Electrical Safety Week is observed nationwide from June 26th to July 2nd. Spearheaded by the National Safety Council (NSC) and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), the campaign highlights best practices like competency, compliance, and caution to prevent accidents and electrocution.In Bengaluru, local initiatives and safety seminars are championed by the National Safety Council of India and the local Karnataka Chapter (NSC-KC).

Key Observances & EventsState Programs: The Department of Electrical Inspectorate, Govt. of Karnataka, spearheads Electrical Safety Week events across the state.Industrial & Corporate Campaigns: Major entities (like the World Trade Center Bengaluru) regularly host Completed Event National Electrical Safety Week workshops inaugurated by the Chief Electrical Inspector.Awareness Materials: The NSC Karnataka Chapter (Tasker Town, Shivajinagar) distributes posters, training materials, and safety manuals specifically tailored for the public, malls, and factories during this time.

The Sangha committee members-  Shri Thirumale Gowda,Prasanna Kumar,KP Bhargavalu,Siddaraju NK,Dwarkesh M,Kodandrama L,Natesh Prabhuraj GS-led the protesters to the Vidhan Soudha,to meet the CM & other ministers- to demand better prices for their land holdings & equitable Justice for their long pending demands

Karnataka Mountaineering Association(KMA)felicitates Everest climbers

KMA felicitated the two members from Karnataka:Ms Chinmayee Trishulamurthy,45-an Opthalmologist(who spoke eloquently about the climb/travails/challenges..) & Mr Santhosh Devarajappa,40-a businessman(seated L-R in photo below)who successfully ascended on 21.5.26 the highest peak/point on Earth-Mt Everest-Sagarmatha:29,031'/8848 m after an arduous,gruelling 46 day expedition via the Nepal/South Col route with 4 acclimatisation stops enroute-at different higher altitudes from base camp

Mr PGR Sindhia(ex-minister-GoK)was the Chief guest at the event held @the Kondaji Basappa/Bharat Scouts & Guides Auditorium in Namma BENGALURU;hosted by KMA(founded in 1966)fittingly celebrating its 60th Glorious Anniversary
