The SURYAKIRAN Team aircraft[BAE Hawk Mk 132] will be performing in Unison/joint flying display with the SARANG Helicopters,as per latest schedules/notifications
6)Yelahanka AFS is Home base for the TTW(Transport Training Wing)where Pilots(Air Warriors in the Four Military Aviation branches:Air Force,Navy,Army,Coast Guard)-[Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines]fly various types/models: Russian-designed ANTONOV AN-32(more than 100 in IAF Fleet,flying since 35 years,being upgraded now in phases),German-designed DORNIER DO-228[Twin Turboprop STOL,Multi-role Logistics Aircraft-more than 125 produced by HAL]:Reconnaissance-Maritime-Search and Rescue(SAR),the mainstay/backbone aircraft of the Indian Coast Guard,which also operates the newly acquired BOEING P-8I Poseidon (twin Jet Engine,8 aircraft delivered /12 ordered)..
