National Gallery of Modern Art[NGMA] Cafe in Namma BENGALURU reopens after long hiatus : New SARA Bombay Cafe also launched on the sylvan,picturesque,verdant premises
NGMA Bengaluru initiated an event called TIMEPASS wherein visitors/gastronomes can have a casual,jolly good time with family, friends, and fellow artists at the outdoor CAFE,set amidst lush,salubrious gardens/greenery/sorroundings,adjacent to the fabulous Gallery/Museum where fantastic Paintings,Sculptures,Works of Art,Murals.. are displayed in one of the finest ambient settings ever seen in our country
Art lovers/afficianados from the fraternity and like-minded people can visit/jam-up at the Museum Café to have a memorable/ productive time for creative thinking,subtle discussions, exchange of ideas/brainstorming,sharing of experiences or just to chill, relax & TIMEPASS.!
The new found initiative is to encourage visitors and creative people,who along with friends & family can enjoy the opportunity to chat/review/ about Art,Painters,Prices.. at the Café space after/before viewing the exhibits
The TIMEPASS opportunity at the outdoor Cafe space of NGMA Bengaluru,is with strict accordance to all the guidelines for Sanitation/Hygiene with mandatory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to be followed during the visit to the Museum/Gallery premises;with the view to contain the spread of the current pandemic/COVID19
NGMA BENGALURU is host to art from the 18th century right up to the current times. It showcases the cultural roots of India and its development with the passage of time
NGMA BANGALORE currently houses approximately 500 exhibits that are spread across labrinthyne corridors where visitors can see/view/admire well lit/displayed artworks,paintings in large spacious halls that span two floors.
National Gallery of Modern Art [NGMA] is the Numero Uno Art Gallery in Bangalore. It was inaugurated in the year 2009. It showcases modern Indian art and houses paintings by Raja Ravi Verma, Jamini Roy, Amrita Sher-Gil, Rabindranath Tagore..
and a large number of Modern and Contemporary artists.Equipped with an auditorium, a public art reference library, a renovated Cafeteria, and a museum shop cum facilitation block, the NGMA Bengaluru looks ahead to becoming a hub of art activities and a major cultural centre at Bengaluru. The gallery organizes and hosts talks on art and culture by eminent speakers, seminars, film screenings as well as workshops and guided walks throughout the year.
