Indus Business Academy (IBA) is organizing Ecofluence - Economics Research Championship with the theme Economics Encounters, Economics in Daily Life.

The conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Ravindra Brahme, Head of Department Economics, Pandit RS Shukla University, Raipur and General Secretary, Indian Economics Association.

Ø  Goal of Ecofluence: Delve deeply into ideas that have long sparked our curiosity but have received little   attention.

Ø  Value Proposition: A competitive event structured to gamify economics bringing its canvas into our   daily lives. 

Ø  Intended Segment: Everyone who has an intriguing economic idea in mind and is searching for a venue   to present it, is welcome to be a part of this competition.

Ø  Competition Differentiator: Presentations are short, bereft of jargons, aiming to make economics   legible to non-experts on topics that embody daily human life.

There are a number of participants from leading institutions including BITS Pilani, Babasaheb Ambedkar  School of Economics, Loyola College Chennai, Symbiosis University, Bangalore, entire Karnataka State and others. Twenty-five teams have been shortlisted for presentation, among which the top eight move into  the finals later in the day. The total prize money is Rs. 60,000/-.
