 RV College of Engineering celebrated 12th Graduation Day on 27 th Aug. 2022 at Poornima Palace, near its campus,on Mysore road in Namma BENGALURU.

Sri. K.C. Ramamurthy, IPS (Retd.), Former Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha)Chairman, CMR Group of Institutions & CMR University, delivered the inaugural address. Dr. Debabrata Das, Director, International Institute of Information TechnologyBengaluru, delivered the Graduation Day address.

                                            

Dr. M.P. Shyam, Chairman-Governing Body & President, RSST presided over the event. Sri.N.R. Panditharadhya and Sri. C.Vinod Hayagriv – Vice Presidents, RSST, Dr. (H.C.) AVS Murthy, Hon. Secretary-RSST, Sri. D.P. Nagaraj, Hon. Jt. Secretary-RSST, Dr. K.N.Subramanya–Principal, RVCE, Dr. K.S. Geetha – Vice Principal, RVCE, Governing Body andAcademic Council members participated in the programme.

Addressing the students, Sri. Ramamurthy highlighted that deep and abiding fundamentals in professional learning will prepare them for challenging career. Every graduate has the power to make a positive difference in society. Engineers will play a crucial role in nation building with advanced technological skill sets, which lasts on the community and society for many more years. Quoted the works of Sir M.Visveshwaraya, every engineer must have the same sense of dedication, commitment,discipline and contribute to the welfare of the society.

UG Gold Medallists

While delivering the Graduation Day address, Dr. Debabrata Das touched upon the two aspects of academic viz. understanding between skills and domain knowledge, citing both are important in student’s career. He emphasized on the importance of domain knowledge. He stressed upon students to learn the skills well to implement the new ideas and innovations inthe development of products. Highlighting on the professional career of students, he advised that hard work, right attitude and integrity can take their career to new heights. He concludedwith a note saying “attitude with wonderful health, strong academics with domain knowledge and skills, humble at the time of success and patience at the time of failure, will make  student’s life better and take career to new heights”.

                                      

17 Gold Medals for M.Tech and MCA, 12 Gold Medals for B.E graduates were awarded at the 12 th Graduation Day.

Totally 1455 students of UG / PG were awarded Provisional Degree Certificates during the Graduation day event.
